Reiki Symbols Used In Usui and Holy Fire Energy Healing

The sacred Reiki symbols were created by Mikao Usui who was a Japanese spiritual guide, to be used as an energy healing. Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) refers to "spiritually guided life force energy." This energy originates from God, the Creator, the Universe, the Mother, or bet it any name you give to the power that connects us all to the world.

Usui/Holy Fire Reiki is an ancient healing technique that allows people to connect with higher levels of consciousness. The symbolism is used to guide Divine healing energy to promote healing and balance for both the healer and the patient.

Name, Meaning & Intention of Reiki Symbols

There are four main symbols used for the practice of Usui/Holy Fire Reiki.

1.  Power (Cho Ku Rei),

2.  Harmony (Sei Hei Ki),

3.  Distance (Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen),

4.  Master (Dai Ko Myo).

The symbols enhance energy and spirituality, assisting practitioners to channel healing energy and assist others with ailments, imbalances, and symptoms of the body and mind.

Power Symbol is used to remove the energy blocks (Byoki) within a person or their home and to seal healing energy in after the session.

Harmony Symbol is essential for resolving thoughts and emotions like anxiety, fear and sadness. It is effective in resolving insomnia, addictions and enhancing learning. It's used to absorb and disperse negative energy from others.

Distance Symbol is used often on both humans and animals, or any living thing. It transmits quantum healing energy throughout time and space to address past and future issues. As with all healings it only works "for the highest good of all concerned." So trying to win the lottery is not a fulfillment of the soul but rather the ego of humans, which is not for the highest good. When combined with the Harmony symbol the Distant symbol works well to heal traumas from the past.

Usui Master Symbol works towards the process of enlightenment. It is the embodiment of all universal energies and mainly used by Reiki master healers. It is a powerful, grounded energy. The Master symbol strengthens the Power, Harmony and Distance symbols in order to enhance self-awareness, personal growth, and spiritual development.

Other Symbols:  Holy Fire Symbol is used to purify of energy, healing, empowerment, and guidance. This symbol is a representation of spirit and the person's connection with God/Universe. It disperses negative energy, and helps to heal the mind, body, and the emotions. Holy Fire empowers healing by giving energy, confidence, security, peace, and the feeling of belonging.

Distance (Remote) Reiki Symbols, Past, Present, and Future Energy with Reiki

Distance healing does not have a past, present, or future, where it transmits energy across both space and time.  Here are some examples of Reiki distance energy healing.

Sending Energy to an Remote Recipient, using a written note on paper

• Note the following on a small piece of paper
• Full name of the recipient
• Address of the recipient. A complete address is the best but some recipients may not be willing to divulge this kind of information. A generic address, like city or country, could be fine, as you're certain that the address is unique to the area in which it is located.
• Age
• Specifics of the condition to address
• The note should be placed in your palm of your hand that is not dominant.
• Recall the three symbols (starting with the Reiki healing distance symbol) on the paper, repeating each mantra three times.
• Keep your dominant hand on the paper for five to ten mins or until you feel energy flow is complete.

Send Enegy Distance Healing using the full size image of the person or animal

This method is best with a picture or object, letting the healer know what the patient looks like.

• Sit down in a chair close your eyes and then connect with the universal energy
• Visualize the person being in the front of you. Recall the three symbols (starting with the Reiki distant healing symbol) on the paper, repeat each mantra three times
• Place both hands on the image and perform aura cleansing
• Perform the energy healing, concentrating on areas of concern
• After the healing, the aura is cleansed and patient is re-grounded

This method is similar to capturing an entire image but with a smaller image that you imagine within the palm of your hands.

• Sit down in a chair close your eyes and connect with Reiki the way you normally do prior to beginning your healing.
• Imagine the image of the person on the palm of your hand that is not your dominant hand. Recall the three symbols (starting with the Reiki the distance healing symbol) over the image, making sure to repeat each mantra three times.
• Place your dominant hand across the picture in your palm (as as if they really are there) and then cleanse your aura.
• Perform Reiki healing by using your dominant hand to move over the image. You can also using intuition or hibiki as a guide for you. Be sure to focus on any concerns that the person who gave you the information has informed you of.
• After you have completed the healing After that, cleanse your aura again Then do Gassho, expressing gratitude to the Reiki energy.

Send Reiki to the past

The technique is employed to transmit Reiki healing energy to an incident that occurred in the past. For instance, you may have suffered traumatizing events that continues to cause issues even today.

• Note the following on one of the small notes
• Date of the past event (be as precise as is possible even if you don't remember everything)
• Details of the event
• The note should be placed in your palm of your hand that is not dominant.
• Recall the three symbols (starting with the Reiki distant healing symbol) on the paper, and remember to repeat each mantra three times.
• Place your dominant hand on the paper for 5-10 minutes.

Repeat with the exact piece of paper at any time until you feel the issue is resolved.

• Put the note into the palm of your non-dominant hand.
• Make your hand the dominant one across the note three times.
• Take it apart and dispose of the note.

Send Reiki to the Future

This method can be employed to transmit Reiki healing energy to events in the near future. For instance, you might have an important business event scheduled, a family gathering or a doctor's appointment.

• Write the following information on small notes
• Date of next event
• Information about the event
• The note should be placed in your palm of your non-dominant hand.
• The three symbols (starting with the Reiki healing distance symbol) on the paper, repeat each mantra three times.
• Keep your dominant hand over the paper for 5-10 mins.

Repeat with the exact same paper at any time before the event.

• Put the note into the palm of your hand that is not dominant.
• Take your dominant hand and run it across the note three times.
• Remove the note and tear it up. the note.
